I'm going to show how to fix it when it is jacked up *this video was made looooong ago lmao. Place the psp face down and locate the battery cover on the left side of the device. lift and remove the battery cover to reveal the battery. remove the battery.. The psp will automatically enter usb mode as soon as it is connected. leave the psp attached to the system for 30 minutes to an hour. when you detach your psp, check your battery power..
I took my battery apart and when i did, one of the pieces of metal tape things disconnected the motherboard and battery. the other is still attached.. But the voltmeter in the psp tells the charger that its full and stops charging to prevent burning the battery. since the chip says 0% the psp wont even try using the battery to prevent data loss.. A bricked psp can be “unbricked” by using special software downloaded from a computer and placed on the psp’s memory card. you do not need to modify the rechargeable battery into a “pandora” battery in order to unbrick the psp..
